The apricot (Prunus armeniaca, syn. Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.) is a species of Prunus, classified with the plum in the subgenus Prunus. While the apricot is much smaller than the peach, it has a slightly sweeter taste profile.

The famous painter Vincent Van Gogh liked them so much he featured them in some of his paintings – most notably his work Pink Peach Trees painted in 1888. In the USA, Georgia is the state most associated with the fruit. The peach is the state fruit, which is celebrated every year at the Georgia Peach festival. This festival features among its many attractions, the baking of the world's largest Peach Cobbler and the annual crowning of Miss Georgia Peach.

Our Peach Apricot Tea is a thirst quenching cup of Ceylon with the summer sweetness of peaches and apricots.
Steep your teabag 3-5 minutes in boiling water.
Add sugar or honey to taste. Pour fresh cream into your cup for an even smoother character. For extra tartness, add freshly squeezed lemon juice.
